What to put in the message

You do not need a specification. The more of the following you can say in a few lines, the more useful our first reply will be — and the fewer rounds it takes to get to something concrete.

What you are building
A sentence is enough to start. A web platform, an iOS or Android app, an internal tool, a bot that does a job nobody wants to do by hand.
Where it stands today
An idea, a design file, a prototype, or a running product that needs work taken over. All four are normal starting points.
When you need it
A real date, even an approximate one. It changes what we would suggest more than almost anything else you could tell us.
Anything already decided
A stack you have to stay on, a platform you must ship to, a compliance rule, an existing team we would work alongside.

What happens next

  1. We read it and reply — usually within a working day, and always with either questions or an opinion, not an acknowledgement.
  2. A short call if it helps: scope, the parts that look risky, and what we would build first.
  3. A written plan with phases and a cost for each, so you can commit to the first one without committing to all of them.

If you would rather look at the work before writing, the projects are here and the engineering notes are on the blog.
